Why Ektima exists

The Cyprus real estate market has a problem. Prices are opaque, listings are duplicated across five platforms simultaneously, and the tools available to serious professionals — agents, developers, valuers — are embarrassingly basic. A market that moves billions of euros annually was still being run on PDFs, WhatsApp forwards, and gut feeling.

Ektima was built to change that. Not as another listings portal that copies what already exists, but as a professional platform that gives every participant in the Cyprus property market — owners, agents, developers, and buyers — the tools they actually need. Real valuations grounded in DLS comparable data. Rental contract management with automated expiry alerts. Development project listings that show a full building with its individual units. A duplicate detection system that eliminates the same property appearing under five different prices.

The name comes from the Greek word for property. The ambition is to become the standard infrastructure for how Cyprus real estate is understood, listed, valued, and transacted.
